Welcome to RenoBook (the “App”).
We value your privacy and the security of your personal information. This Policy explains what information the App processes, why and how it processes it, and how you can manage your information. Please read it before using the App.
1. Scope
This Policy applies to the RenoBook iOS App and its renovation content service, AI interior design and floor plan design, iCloud sync, Lifetime membership purchases, help, and feedback features.
It does not cover independently operated third-party products or services, such as Apple's App Store and iCloud, panoramic tour websites you add, Xiaohongshu (RED), or email services. Those providers process information under their own privacy policies.
2. How Your Information Is Processed
2.1 Renovation Data You Create and Save
To provide home files, journals, renovation briefs, budgets, guides, tasks, inspections, and expense tracking, the App stores information you enter or import, including:
- Home details: Name, development or city, floor area, layout, property condition, renovation arrangement, start date, budget, and notes.
- Home files: Floor plans, measured plans, furniture layouts, design renderings, construction drawings, budget documents, window drawings, panoramic tour links, file names, and notes.
- Journal entries: Text, dates, photos, videos, voice recordings, and location coordinates and names you choose to add.
- Renovation briefs and budget plans: Questionnaire answers, completion progress, information used to generate a brief, budget categories, items, and estimated amounts.
- Tasks: Titles, notes, lists, subtasks, scheduled dates, reminder times and methods (notifications or system alarms), flags, and completion status.
- Inspections: Stages, checklist items, results, times of status changes, issue descriptions, and site photos or videos.
- Expenses: Payments or refunds, dates, categories, item names, payees, contact phone numbers, notes, and receipts.
- Attachments: Photos, videos, PDFs, spreadsheets, and other files you choose or capture, together with file names, sizes, and integrity information.
- Usage records and preferences: Reading progress, language, appearance, privacy notice acknowledgment, iCloud sync status, and the last sync time.
These records are first stored on your device. When iCloud sync is enabled and available, the renovation records described in Section 2.3 are also stored in your private iCloud space. They are not uploaded to our renovation content server. We cannot remotely view your local renovation data.
