This Privacy Policy explains how Recipe Memo ("the App," "we," or "us") handles related information when you use the App.

1. Information We Collect

You do not need to create an account to use the App.

The App does not provide account registration, login, or a cloud-based personal profile system. Most of the data you save in the App is stored locally on your device by default, such as recipes, recognition history, shopping lists, favorites, cooking records, profile photos, and nicknames.

However, when you actively use AI recognition features, the images you take or select, the recognition mode you choose, and necessary request information are sent to our API service and processed by relevant third-party AI services in order to generate structured recipe results.

The App may also use Apple StoreKit to obtain purchase or subscription entitlement information, and may retrieve subscription configuration or paywall display content through our API service.

The App may process or store the following data locally on your device:

• App preferences, such as theme, language, reminder settings, and certain feature states.
• Profile information you choose to provide, such as your nickname and profile photo.
• Images you capture or select for saved recipes or recognition history.
• AI recognition results, such as recipe titles, descriptions, categories, ingredients, steps, durations, servings, confidence levels, and recognition notes.
• Content you save to your recipe library.
• Recognition records kept in History.
• Shopping list items you create or manage in the App.
• Cooking records and step progress created in the App.
• Local status information used to display free usage limits, membership status, and feature entitlements.
• Purchase or subscription entitlement information provided by Apple through StoreKit, used only to unlock and manage paid features.
